I have lived in New Zealand and Australia for three years! I have traveled to more than 10 countries. There are more places to visit on my bucket list ✅

I love being in the nature. I have been to Nepal for Mt. Everest trekking in 2019. and I often go hiking northern Alps area in Japan.

teacher, supervisor Kindergarten in JapanI had worked as a kindergarten teacher for six years. and I also have an experience working as a nursery teacher. This experience helps me to assemble the lesson and make it flow.

I really enjoy the News lessons. It feels like I learn so much and practice reading, understanding, speaking - all while learning about Japanese culture and news. Because I have to focus on trying to understand the article and talk about it, I don't focus too much on overthinking about how to use the language. I'm always surprised that 90% of the lesson is talking in Japanese. I think it's such a great lesson format and allows me to just use the language I know without thinking about it too much, while also picking up so many new words and phrases. Toshiko Sensei is great at explaining things in a way that is simple to understand, using Japanese that's more at my level or English if I don't understand. Thank you!

A fourth lesson with Toshiko sensei while I was in Japan really helped to consolidate what I learned in earlier lessons. I have practiced phrases learned in the post office and in shops, and will do so again later today. A very good teacher, with fun lessons and useful role playing which I enjoyed a lot. I hope to continue lessons when I return to the UK, despite the time difference.

After three lessons with Toshiko sensei, I have gained a lot of confidence in speaking Japanese. She has taught me many practical words and phrases to use while I am in Japan. I like her fun approach and our role playing, which I have already used in real life. She has also given me grammar tips that are really useful.
