Hello! My name is Melanie and I am a native English speaker from the UK. I have travelled to various parts of the world and I am currently living in Indonesia
I enjoy learning new languages to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I have learnt British Sign Language in order to reach out to the deaf in my community and I am currently learning Indonesian and I'm "dabbling" in Spanish. So I understand the challenges people face when learning a new language and I can help you to overcome those.Me as a Teacher
I have 5 years experience teaching English online and I really enjoy it. It's so rewarding when you see a student grow in their confidence and fluency and abilities in the language. I am TEFL certified.

My main focus in teaching is natural conversation. It's so important to talk to a native and understand how we speak and for you to be able to practice with someone who is there to help you to improve. A lot of my students have benefited from discussing news articles or videos together and being able to practice expressing their opinions which can feel so difficult when learning a new language!
I have a HR professional background with recruitment experience. Many of my students are finding it useful to prepare for interviews with me and I can help offer some tips on how to nail your interview! (English idiom)My teaching material
